I bought this range a month ago for my 5 room cottage and have had great results ever since. Burners are easily controlled and consistent. Oven works well and has accurate temperature control. I had my gas company install it and they made it work very well. Some reviews indicated that pots can slide on the porcelain pot holders and that was the case at first but with use the surface of the porcelain roughs up and pots stay steady. I love the lighted, viewable oven.

Beautiful range ... performance good until oven just wouldn't turn on one day... Tried troubleshooting but nothing on my end . Unit was about to become 4 years old ... Oven was used approx 2 days a week ... less if on vacay. very disappointed with Amana... didn't get extended warranty so i have to pay to repair a range that should have lasted a lot longer ..

I just installed this to replace a GE. I tried to find one locally to look at before I bought it but no one stocks it. The burner grates are AWFUL. I knew they weren't really continuous but they also aren't flat across the top. Pans don't sit evenly or securely and it is dangerous when the pans tilt. I use the oven once in a while but I use the cook top every day. Amana should either redesign the burner grates and replace them free or give me my money back. Overall the construction is cheap with thin oven racks and broiler pan. The oven door handle is too narrow to be a good towel rack.There are also manufacturing and assembly defects. If you want a good solid cook top, don't buy this.
