purchased this electric “smart” range oven a year ago. We’ve had two main issues. First, sometimes we can’t turn off the oven. Yes, you read that correctly. We have to flip our circuit breaker to turn it off. Second, my husband accidentally dropped a small spice container on the touch control panel. The panel completely shattered and sent chards of glass across our floor. A repairman came out today, charged us $109 and didn’t have the new part. Who comes out, charges money, and does nothing? He came out to tell us the part was backordered. It could be weeks or months before we can use our oven again. The little pieces of glass affect the control panel, meaning that yesterday morning the oven turned on by itself. We had to flip the circuit breaker again. In addition, the little chards of glass are absolutely everywhere. We have vacuumed and swept every day. My husband had to go to Urgent Care to have glass removed from his foot. The glass panel should be made not to send tiny pieces everywhere. So, now in addition to the $600 to replace the part. We had to pay a doctor additional money to remove glass from my husbands foot. It’s just not worth it. This oven dangerous and I regret purchasing it.
