Quit working after just a couple weeks. The unit acted as if it had no power qhich was not the case. LG told us to contact a repairman in Wyoming we live in Montana and he never responded so we took the unit back to the Home Depot and traded it for a different unit altogether.

In March of this year 2023 a microwave I had had for a little over a year stopped working. Very frustrating. So I bought my current unit within a week or two. Because of my previous experience I purchased a 5 year warrantee which was not available on the other brand. So far my new LG microwave is working well and I have no complaints. Something funny happened a few days after installation. The door did not open all the way until we got the fridge to stand up straight and as soon as I was able to open the door I found all the detailed instructions for the buttons for example Reheat 1 is dinner plate etc. I love that the instructions are right there on the door. So far so good. I will know better when after 2 or three years it is still working.

I bought an entire kitchen of LG appliances. The microwave works great but has become progressively loud after 2 months. Contacted LG since it is under warranty. Transformer appears to be going out. Hopefully it will be fixed when repairman comes out which wont be for another 2 weeks. It has been 2 months trying to get it fixed. Thank goodness it still heats because being without a microwave for 2 months would be totally unacceptable.
