Passed the popcorn test. The most important feature of a microwave is the popcorn button. Cooked a bag perfectly. So far we have loved it.

While planning our kitchen remodel, I was determined to integrate an over the range microwave to save counter space. This turned out wonderfully! It’s self venting and very powerful. The multiple reheat settings, beverage reheat setting and popcorn button never disappoint!

Cheap plastic broken door handle

We’ve had this microwave for about 2 years and the door handle recently broke. It’ll cost us $120 for a service call from GE and the actual handle costs $160. Looking at other peoples reviews now, I would’ve never bought this so that’s why I’m writing this. Do not buy this microwave. Do not buy GE products since they seem to know this cheap plastic door handle has been problematic for consumers and they don’t care.

This is a nice microwave. Love the button features. Seems to evenly warm up leftovers. It’s terrible at melting cheese when we’re making nachos. Totally a weird thing compared to the microwave it replaced. It’s also kinda goes crazy when popping popcorn. Don’t try to do more than one bag every five minutes because it will just give up. You can put a second bag in there, and it will run-but it won’t pop. Then the vent turns itself on just to add more drama to the confusing situation. It’s so strange. It seems like popping a few bags should be a pretty basic function.
