This unit replaced a 21 year old GE microwave. This unit is much faster and quieter. It looks wonderful in the kitchen.

My only complaint with the microwave we just purchased is that the display panel is VERY difficult to read/see. I actually read and reread the manual trying to figure out how to make the display panel light up or brighten up when touched, only to find out that is does not. Seems like such a small feature that GE should have added that would have made the microwave exceptional.

This is the 3rd microwave, same model, I’ve had in the home. The first I inherited with the home. It lasted maybe 11-12 years which I think is excellent. The replacement, same model, approx 3-4. I’m not happy about that. Unfortunately I’m limited to replacement options give the size I have to purchase. This new one: door is noisy closing, the round glass plate inside is smaller, and the clock light a bright, bright “daylight” color. It seems inferior to the previous 3-4 year microwave!
