We opted for the 24" built in microwave and we are very pleased with how this looks in our kitchen! It is so much nicer than the undercounter microwaves being offered.

It is the most expensive microwave I’ll ever purchase but this product didn’t disappoint me. My wife really wanted to have a ventilation hood in the kitchen so it forced us to choose between built-in or countertop microwave. We could not be happier with our choice. This microwave is so quiet and sometimes I even worry if the microwave is working. Highly recommended!

Purchased an entire Kitchen of KA appliances - Built in 48" refrigerator, double convection oven, 36" induction cooktop, exhaust hood, dishwasher, and this microwave. Due to delays in a remodel, I had the appliances for several months before they were installed. The microwave is dead out of the box. After chatting with a support agent I am told that : "The warranty we supply is a functional repair based warranty. Product replacements, exchanges and or refunds are excluded from this policy. The warranty is strictly for repairs." So they can send defective products out and then send a repair person to patch it up. REALLY disappointed, I expected better customer service. Maybe it was the agent I chatted with. She also asked for the full address where the appliance is - I gave it to her and she asked is there the same address we would send service - UM yes, unless it can be repaired telepathically. I can't really rate any of the features because I haven't been able to even turn it on. Therefore I have given a 1 star rating on all facets. IF it is successfully repaired next week, and I am able to see it work, I will update my review. In the meantime I can't recommend KitchenAid to anyone for anything. I have over $20,000 worth of appliances that basically as is. The service man coming out to fix the microwave works for a local company - who knows how competent he will be??
