I purchased this cooktop and decided to go with this option because all of my other Samsung appliances have Wi-Fi connectivity. When it was time to install, not only did the was it too large for my cutout (even though my old cooktop was also 30 inches) but the module did not fit because of the backsplash. Turns out the installer says this happens 90% of the time and they had to remove the module. Now i ended up paying for a premium product to get a feature that i now can't even use. No mention of extra space needed for the module was ever mentioned.

Overall, I have been satisfied with the cooktop. The design is good, grates are heavy and well-placed vis-à -vis the burners. I find the central burner suitable for cooking pasta, but a little under-powered for stir-fry cooking. The dials are well positioned and brightly lit with a blue ring to indicate that the burner is on. The burners light quickly and there are an infinite number of flame settings that can be dialed in. The simmer burner in the middle of the two-stage central burner works very well for simmering soup over many hours. The top-right burner is tiny and designed for gently simmering sauces. I’m not certain how much I will use it, but time will tell. I removed the WiFi attachment as it would not fit with a downdraft fan placed at the rear of the cooktop. Seriously, I am not convinced the cooktop needs to provide remote control or information via WiFi. One installation note: the gas regulator is vertically situated at the right-rear of the unit. If you have a downdraft fan at the rear, you may need a 90-degree elbow in order to install the regulator.

This Samsung Stainless 5 Burner Cooktop has wonderful design. 5 different sizes of burners are great. The larger burners up front and the smaller burners in the back give me more space and time. It has LED light around and on the gas knobtop valve. So it can be recognizable easily it is on or off even not in front of cooktop. And it has very simple structure to clean the cooktop. I was purchasing this a replacement for an existing unit was too old and not working well. Now my concern is gone and pleasure is mine. After replacement I and my spouse love to cook everyday with Samsung Stainless 5 Burner Cooktop. Thank you Samsung. I love it.

What I love most about this cooktop is the smarthing feature. . I sometimes forget to turn of the stove but with this feature, there's no question if a burner is on or off. The blue LED Illuminated Knobs lets me know immediately if the burner is on. If I am out of the house, I can pull up the app and know which burner is on or not. I really like that!! The sealed burners make for such an easy clean up. Thanks Samsung for making this stove easy to clean and know when it is on!!!

First of all, I think Samsung 30 Stainless 5 Burner Cooktop is the most beautiful design of cooktop. The only changing cooktop, looks like we did big remodeling in our kitchen. This cooktop has a great 5 burner with wide range of power. The center of burner cooks and boils super-fast and I am pretty sure we use this burner more often. Especially the big burner is the best to cook food with Wok. Depends on what dish I cook, can choose the level of power of burner. This cooktop size is similar size compare to my previous cooktop but I feel more room to cook due to the layout of burner. The favorite part of this cooktop is the blue light knobs when it turns on, and it is super awesome for the safety issue for someone has young kids like me and also the pretty color of blue knobs makes more modern and luxurious cooktop. Another favorite part of this cooktop is griddle. We can cook egg, bread and bacon on the griddle and cream soup on cooktop together. It is really good harmony in the morning. This cooktop is very easy to clean because It is very easy to disassemble and also food debris can not go inside of burner because burner cap is covering all the small opening. Good job Samsung!
