Knobs are inferior All the knobs on the cooktop have cracked and broken I assume due to excessive heat not sure contacted customer service at Samsung been trying for a year and a half to get replacement knobs the only way they’ll send them as if I get the serial number which is mounted on the underside of the cooktop which is now in a custom installation on granite cooktop customer service with supply receipt and model number but they refused to assist me these knobs are extremely expensive And malfunction many cases reported on the Internet deeply disappointed

The grates on this Samsung cooktop make you feel like you are on the line in a restaurant, which is exactly how I want to feel cooking at home. The middle burner, especially, has some juice, getting you from zero to boil much quicker than standard burners (though watch at mid-range heat when it goes from dual burners to one). I mostly cook on the bottom left mid-range burner, smoothly toggling the light-up knobs from simmer to high. So far, I've seared, fried, stir-fried, braised, and boiled. I've cooked pots and pots of rice. I've used the griddle plate to toast tortillas. All of these activities have been a pleasure. Cleaning is a cinch with the sturdy grates removed. Be careful, though: you can easily scratch the black stainless surface (like I did) with the standard yellow/green sponge/scouring pad combo. Handsome on my countertop, this cooktop will be the central tool of my family's meals for years to come.

This is a fantastic stove top with some great features and a great style. Aesthetically, it looks awesome and clean. It is easy to maintain the black-stainless steel, and the area around the burners is simple and quick to clean. The five-burners offer plenty of cook space and are plenty big to fit all sorts of pots and pans. The grills are solidly built and feel very durable. Overall, the unit is gorgeous and accents our kitchen well. From a functionality point of view - I have a couple issues. There are 5 burners, two medium on the left, one extra large in the center, one small in the top left, and one large in the bottom right. I kind of wish there had been a second large burner in stead of one of the medium, and replace the small with one of the medium burners. The small burner is useful if you have an extra small sauce pan, but does not provide much functionality for anything larger. It does not put out enough heat to use anything larger than a small sauce pan, and thus goes unused most days for me. The other burners are excellent though! Specially the center burner. It is a beast and puts out a TON of heat. The griddle that comes with the unit is a treat - a lot of fun to use for burgers, sandwiches, and pancakes. It is definitely a nice extra feature to have! The wifi is capability is okay. I have some issues with connecting. It requires a 2.4 Ghz signal versus a 5 Ghz signal. My router puts out the best signal possible, a combo of the 2.4 and 5 Ghz signal. As such, connecting using the 2.4 Ghz signal is hit and miss and requires some luck. I did get the unit connected - and the features are extremely nice. Knowing that the stove is off is a peace of mind that can't be beat! Overall, a great stove top despite some of the downfalls, that I would highly recommend to everyone.

This cooktop is the best I’ve owned by a long shot. The black stainless instantly upgraded the looks of the counter space and is eye grabber when you walk into the room. The blue LED lights are a nice feature that allows you to know whether or not the cooktop is off at a glance. I love that there are five burners made up of all of the different sizes and the power burner does not disappoint. Boiling water seems to take half the time compared to my previous cooktop. The cooktop cleans easily and continues to look like new after a couple of months of use. This unit was also very easy to install and convert to propane (conversion kit included with gas cooktop). I would definitely recommend!
