I have been using my new gas cooktop for over a week now and I am disappointed with the knobs being so close to the burners. The knobs get hot from the burners so you have to be careful when you touch them. Also when cleaning the cooktop the burners move easily so if you bump them the metal pieces fall off and you have to stop and put them back in place. It becomes time consuming.

This Maytag product was easy to install into our granite counter tops, and also operates great. My wife and I like the heavy duty grates, the ease to remove and clean around each burner. This Maytag isn't the first Maytag product that we have purchased in the past, but it will be the last gas cooktop we will need to replaced. Thank you for a great product and please let your factory people know we thank them.

I'm very happy with how evenly my new gas stove top cooks, but, the clean-up is awful! It's a metal plate, rather than glass and it's very hard to get greasy smudges off. I have to remove the heavy grates plus all burner tops, wipe everything off with a sponge, then get a spray cleaner to try to get all the smears off. I certainly am not happy with that.
