We replaced a similar GE unit with this one. One thing I noticed between this unit and the old one is how cheaply made the new unit is. The old unit was noticeably heavier and well made. The burners are not fastened to the unit like old ones are. The regulator is a Chinese cheaper looking unit. My wife does like the new grates as they are much easier to clean versus the old unit which were porcelain coated. Overall for the money so far so good.

Easy to install, DYI. Looks great and so far is an excellent cooking surfaces and range of different burners to choose from. Easy clean up with cleaner containing vinegar with no streaks
